2

How does Firewall Manager work?

Firewall Manager is an autonomous system that detects failed access attempts over different connection protocols. The software communicates to the Windows Firewall which IP addresses or IP ranges should block.

The system scans a minimum of 3 incoming connections to determine the legitimacy of the connection before cataloging it as a threat.

How can I test automatic IP blocking?

If you have the SMTP Configuration, you can go to cmd with telnet and run the following commands:

telnet 587\nEHLO HelloDomain\nAUTH LOGIN\ndGVzdA==\ndGVzdA==\nquit

If you have the Web Configuration, you can access the URL http://your-domain.com/test.php+test and the system will block you. Another example URL: http://your-domain.com/php.ini

If you have the IMAP/SMTP option enabled, you can try accessing your email account by entering an incorrect password at least 6 times.
